Miniature Horses Help Raise Money for TOYS FOR TOTS!

American Miniature Horses & their owners are offering a
GREAT DAY of FUN & EDUCATION to EVERYONE
at NO CHARGE!!!!!

The Miniature Horse Alliance, Inc., a non-profit group of enthusiasts, invites everyone to come meet and learn about the fun and exciting world of miniature horses.

PLEASE bring a toy with you (unwrapped) for the Toys for Tots Toy Drive. What a great family outing!!! Kids will have hands on experiences with the minature horses, so bring your cameras.

Our Fall 2008 Show Prospect Sale & Seminars will be a live auction, following a series of quality seminars held on Saturday, November 15th, at the Lone Star Expo and Convention Center in Conroe, TX.

Free seminars will cover all aspects of miniature horse ownership, training, care, and investing wisely in the miniature horse industry. Live demonstrations will include jumping, obstacle, and driving. Yes, minis can do it all! Panel discussions will also include how to be a Show Mom or Dad and all about show clothes.

"We plan for this sale to have a little different flavor and twist."

Additionally, there will be a Consignment Sale of select horses from many of the best breeding lines found in the industry, chosen for use in the show ring, starting at 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Driving and performance horses, trained geldings, bred mares and halter show prospects will be offered for sale at auction immediately after the seminars.

We plan to showcase the best show prospects being offered at reasonable prices. In other words, a blend of quality, lower than normal prices, and prior training will be our key focus in the consignment selection process.

This sale should be exciting for all – we have horses registered with AMHR and AMHA.

The sale will be run with all the expertise of the past sales management and the additional vigor of IAMHA. We will continue to accept and present some of the best show and breeding stock in the country for your approval.

Lunch will be provided to all registered bidders as we all work together to help buy Toys for Tots! There will also be food & beverage cncession for those who just want to watch the sale.

A True Adventure Indeed. The story of the American Miniature Horse, nearly 400 years in the making, is steeped in adventure and the love of little horses.

The American Miniature Horse is the "Horse for Everyone" and everyone will get the chance to meet one at this special event. This is a chance to hug, pet and even kiss a mini.

Sponsors of the event. The Miniature Horse Alliance is a group which specializes in the promotion of Miniature Horses. This special event, free to all, is designed to educate and raise awareness about Miniature Horses and present a community service program that benefits the Toys for Tots organization.

The sale and seminars are being supported by Double Diamond Tack and Supplies, who will have a booth at the expo grounds the day of the seminars. Additionally, representatives from both Registries plus local Miniature Horse Clubs will be there to answer questions and help you find out more about getting involved with a club in your area.
